Rick Semonis, CLU

Original founding partner and Company President Rick Semonis has built his career around a personal philosophy that “employers who understand that their employees are their most valuable asset, understand that they need to do what they can to keep their employees healthy!” With a company platform focused on health and wellness, Mr. Semonis integrates solid employee benefit programs designed with wellness management resources to achieve the best long-term results for his clients.

In his prior employment, Mr. Semonis held sales and leadership positions both with carriers and within the independent agency system. This depth enables Mr. Semonis to develop strategies with his client groups to obtain the “best programs with the best carriers at the best price”.

Throughout his career in the insurance industry, Mr. Semonis has been an active member of professional organizations including the Professional Insurance Agents of Illinois, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Health Underwriters.

In addition, SBSi Semonis Insurance Group is a member of Peoria, East Peoria, and Pekin Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Semonis currently serves on the Pekin Hospital Advisory Committee, the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors, and their Executive Committee. He is also a Memphis to Peoria runner for the annual St. Jude Run.
