Missy Sallee, PHR

Missy Sallee has an extensive background in Human Resources and Employee Benefit Administration. Prior to joining SBSi Semonis Insurance Group in 2003, Ms. Sallee had more than seven years experience providing benefit services to employees in medium to large size employer groups. Her experience in Human Resources leadership gives her unique perspective to understand how benefit changes affect employee morale, rentention and the ability to attract new employees.

Since joining SBSi Insurance Group, Ms. Sallee has put her expertise to work from the other side of the fence. She provides consultation and proposed program improvements geared at helping the employer manage benefit programs from a position of knowledge and information about the products they are purchasing and the vendors supplying those products. Her primary focus is self-funded group health programs. Ms. Sallee’s eye for detail and understanding of the marketplace make her an excellent member of a clients benefit team.

Ms. Sallee earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Iowa and has also obtained her Professional Human Resources (PHR) Designation. She is an active member of the Hearth of Illinois HR Council, and an affiliate of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
